Euskalduna Bilbao is the leading convention and entertainment center in the city of Bilbao. In 2003, it was named the world’s best convention center by the AIPC. It is located in the city center and is easily accessible, primarily by tram.
HOW TO GET THERE
Bilbao Airport is one of the most striking examples of the city of Bilbao’s revitalization and renewed vitality. It is located 12 kilometers from the capital of Biscay.

With more than 50 destinations, the Basque airport serves its entire catchment area with a revamped infrastructure for retail services, featuring shops tailored to the needs of frequent travelers and a dining area.

  • Lines L1 and L2 stop at San Mamés Station, located about a 6-minute walk from Euskalduna Bilbao.
  • Bilbobus routes 26, 56, 62, 76, and 88 have stops near Euskalduna Bilbao.
  • The Bizkaibus A3247 line runs from Bilbao Airport to Bilbao (Termibus), with a stop at Plaza Moyúa, located about a 10-minute walk from Euskalduna Bilbao.
  • Line T1: This line runs between Bolueta and La Casilla. The Euskalduna stop is located directly across from the headquarters.
  • If your accommodation is in the city center, you can walk to the Euskalduna Bilbao in about 20–30 minutes.
  • Euskalduna Bilbao has a paid public parking lot.
  • You can reach Euskalduna Bilbao by car from anywhere in the city in about 10–15 minutes.
  • You can call a taxi to get to the Euskalduna Bilbao from anywhere in the city.

The city has an excellent public transportation system, including the metro, tram, and bus. You can also get around on foot or by bike, as Bilbao is a very walkable and bike-friendly city.
Basque cuisine is among the most highly regarded in the world. From pintxos—small, bite-sized appetizers—to elaborate dishes, we have a long culinary tradition with a wide variety of options. We recommend trying some of the traditional dishes, such as cod pil-pil, pintxos, or grilled pork chops.
Bilbao offers a wide variety of leisure activities, such as visiting museums, going to the movies, attending concerts, strolling through different parts of the city, enjoying the local cuisine, or going out on the town. Or, you can simply do what the locals usually do: enjoy the lively social scene on the streets, centered around the bars and taverns.

If you have time, we recommend visiting some of the towns and cities surrounding Bilbao, such as Getxo, the coastal towns, San Sebastián, or Vitoria-Gasteiz.
